breakfast oatmeal for kidsMy healthy lifestyle is a family lifestyle. It’s really important to me that I build a strong foundation for Joel and Elle when it comes to food. So far hubby and I have exposed them to lots of fruits, veggies, and healthy whole grains and have faced very little opposition. They both love to eat oatmeal for breakfast before dropping them to school. I boil the oatmeal in water (not milk). I add some cinnamon, nutmeg, ground flaxseed. Put in bowl and top with raisins and fresh strawberries. (no sugar, honey, nectar etc.)

    Good choice. I have also started giving my kids oatmeal in the morning also.
