Good Food & Good Wine + How To Keep Wine Fresh For Weeks

August 31, 2017

Thank you zzysh® for sponsoring this post!

It’s no secret that my family and I love to eat out. We dine at a local restaurant an average of 1.5 times a week. As vegans you’d probably think eating out is difficult but if you’re willing to do the research on yelp, instagram and google you’ll discover that vegans can eat in many restaurants. Did you know many restaurants even let you bring in your own wine if they don’t have a bar in house? Yasssss! And I’ve got a great tool to share with you that you can use extended the life-span of a wine bottle after it’s been opened.

Good Food

What is it about Thai food that my family and I just can’t get enough of? I crave Thai food. It’s like a drug that I just can’t stop desiring. We recently visited Tum Thai Cuisine in Rockville, Center (Long Island, NY) and the food was finger licking good. I also indulged in a delicious plum wine.

Pan Fried Vegetable Dumpling

Panang Curry

Pad Thai

Plum Wine?

I hadn’t heard about plum wine until I stated frequenting thai spots. I fell in love with it because it’s much sweeter than wine made from grapes. It’s traditionally made from rice wine or white alcohol and you can drink it over ice, or in any number of cocktails. I typically drink 1-2 glasses of wine with my meal and I’m left with a lot of wine that I don’t plan on drinking right away. So what do you do with your favorite wine when you have half a bottle left? You get a zzysh®. zzysh® is a revolutionary wine and sparkling wine preservation system, one for wine and one for sparkling wine to keep a bottle’s natural taste, smell and quality after it is opened. Not just for a day, but for weeks! If you want your favorite wine to taste as good as it did the day it was opened weeks later, get yourself a zzysh®-stat! Save 20% with code getyourzzysh

The unique technology replaces the air in the wine bottle or pressurizes it, if it’s sparkling wine. This with a highly pure protective atmosphere consisting of argon for wine or a mixture of argon and carbon dioxide for sparkling wine. In combination with the stopper, this works to protect the wine and sparkling wine from oxidation, ensuring flavor, taste, fizz and color are all retained.

This is legit some new age stuff that has me mind blown! But there’s nothing more I hate than wasting a good bottle of wine.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Zzysh. The opinions and text are all mine.

I have never had the pleasure if trying Thai food but it is on my list because it seems to be craved & loved by many I know! Sometimes my husband & I can open a bottle of wine & it’s gone that evening. Other times it sits in the fridhe for weeks forgotten about! Thank you for this. We will have to try it. Plum wine too. Boy does that sound divine. We plan to try the Butter wine you wrote about awhile ago.

As a graduate student who doesn’t eat meat, has many food allergies and is busy with my school work load, i love Thai food! I know how do these things come together. I Believe the ability to be full and get my money’s worth is what keep bring me back to Thai food. I also love the fact that i can eat a meal and not be limited to just a house salad. The Thai restaurants I frequent are very good about my allergies so i keep going back!

I’m not a drinker, so wine wouldn’t be my choice of drinks, however, I’m definitely a foodie.

This post made me so hungry and I just ate lunch lol! Thai food is something that I have never tried, but after reading your post, I am going to see what Thai restaurants are in my area so that I can give it a try.

Thank you for the review! I’m not vegan yet, but I am vegetarian. My husband and daughter still eat meat, though. However, through it all I love me some Thai food too, girl! There are just so many options and flavors! I swear I can eat Asian food everyday. I’ve also tried Plum wine. Being a huge wine lover, I find that it is too sweet for my everyday liking- I’m more of a dry red wine lover. Next date night I think we’re going to have Thai. I’d be willing to have a glass of plum wine too! Thanks for the tip- adding it to my wish list.

Thai food!? Yeees!!! I’m not a drinker but I do enjoy Thai food. Thai is always the cuisine I tend to forget about. Out of all the different spots I can visit, I always forget about Thai. I don’t know why but I do. I looooove it though every time I dine Thai.

I know all about yelp and different apps to find gluten free spots for my hubby. I always surprised when we visit a major city and can’t find a decent place that serves gluten free food. I don’t mean lettuce wrap burger but an actually gluten free bun or pasta for a meal. It’s a struggle sometimes.
