When I think about all the fun things I enjoy doing as a mom I can make a laundry list of activities. Super squishy hugs, and warm wet kisses are by far the best! Then comes other things such as tickles that make you kick and holler, loud laughs that make you cry, piggy back rides that hurt your knees, puzzles, coloring, going to the pumpkin patch, birthday parties, singing our favorite songs on repeat, watching the fireworks, building snow men, opening gifts, roller skating, building sand castles at the beach, chasing down the icecream truck, movie nights, bedtime stories and … seriously I could go on.
You know what’s not on this laundry list of fun things? Laundry. The one chore most moms end up doing because if we don’t do them, who will do it? Yea my husband could do it, but will he do it right? While laundry doesn’t ever make my fun list, I do enjoy my laundry time with my little ones. They are at that age right now (3 and 5), where they genuinely love helping me out with anything I’m doing — cooking, dishes, putting groceries away, making the beds and they love to help with the laundry. Elle especially wants to help me with every step and I’m secretly counting down the years until she can do all of our laundry on her own. She likes to load the laundry, add the detergent (with supervision of course) close the door and press the buttons. If I try to help her out in any way she gets a big attitude. Who does she think she is?
I recently got the Samsung FlexWash + FlexDry duo and for the first time in my life I’ve felt like I’ve had a home appliance that lets me be great. Between rushing the kids to school, TaeKwonDo practice, ballet lessons, swimming lessons, gymnastics practice, work, home work, grocery shopping, cooking and family time, there’s just never enough hours in the day to tackle all of my family’s laundry needs, and with two small children the messes they get into just don’t make any sense. Seriously, why do you always have to wear your food?
Just imagine you pick up your son from TaeKwonDo practice and his uniform is covered in red gatorade stains. He needs the uniform for practice tomorrow. What do you do? Do you really throw a uniform in the wash all by itself? I sure do! The FlexWash + FlexDry machines are equipped with two washers and two dryers in one! Do you know what kind of mountains I can move with two washers and two dryers?
I can surely move my family’s mountain of laundry faster that’s for sure. I’m so fortunate to have immediate access to a washer and dryer when I need it but the Samsung FlexWash + FlexDry duo aren’t like any other washer and dryer I’ve ever laid eyes on. Let me say this again, these machines have two washers and two dryers in one. This means I can load the large capacity lower washer with those large loads that have been piling up while for two, three, four weeks (#dontjudgeme) while taking care of that stained uniform in the top load compartment at the same exact time! Or when I have a very small load of whites and a big bulky load of towels. I can separate them appropriately to ensure my different types of clothes get the best possible care from wash to dry. As the self proclaimed queen of multitasking that I am, these machines have transcended my life to a new place.
Gone are the days of the all-day-back-to- back laundry loads and hello to better days that are spent washing laundry more efficiently. Oh and I can control my FlexWash + FlexDry machines with my smartphone using the Samsung Smart Home app – handy for when you’re cooking and helping with homework and you always lose track of your laundry times, like me. I turn around and realized that I was supposed to unload, load and reload both my dryer and machine almost an hour ago! I then spend about 20 minutes agonizing over that time I lost. I’m not the only one that feels this way right? Worry no more, the Samsung Smart Home App sends me an alert when the cycle is complete and also allows me to schedule cycles.
After I’ve said all that, let me show you how these bad boys or shall I say bad girls work!
