Brown rice and kidney beans is a delicious healthy and satisfying meal. I usually have 2 cups of brown rice ( I make it in my rice cooker) with 1 cup kidney beans (recipe). This gives me 23g of protein at a little over 600 calories (if you count😊). People don’t realize that protein is found in so many foods not just meat. And now that I’m vegan, I eat all the rice I want!
