The Best Memories Happen At The Pumpkin Patch

November 9, 2017

Thank you CAPRI SUN for sponsoring this post. You can find CAPRI SUN’s four new All Natural Ingredient and No Sugar Added products at most grocery retailers nationwide, including local grocery stores, mass merchandisers and club stores.

My husband and I are all about creating long lasting family memories and traditions. Whenever we do something that we all really enjoy,we start planning for the next available date that we can do that same thing again. We are the same way when it comes to visiting a new place. If we have a blast there, you better believe we will be returning! Last year we took our little ones along with their god sister to the pumpkin patch at the local farm and we enjoyed every moment of it. We made sure to return again this year with friends and we had delicious CAPRI SUN drinks in tow to quench our thirst after all the fun!

Upon arrival to the farm we organized ourselves to take advantage of all the farm has to offer in a very systematic way. We’d start at with the inflatables since they were at the very front of the farm and also the most likely to get shut down first. And to be honest, the moment my children saw the inflatables they completely forgot why we came to the pumpkin patch in the first place, so I don’t think we really had a choice. If the inflatables weren’t the first thing we did, I’m sure the rest of the day would have been ruined. After two rounds on the inflatable tree house slide, we made our way over to the tractor for a hayride.

The hayride is pretty awesome. The tractor takes you from the front of the farm to the back of the farm where the pumpkins are located. Last year we didn’t get to enjoy a hayride because there were too many people walking through the farm. We made sure to visit the farm much earlier than we did last year to ensure the farm wouldn’t be as crowded and we made a good call. Not only was it not crowded but the weather was pretty amazing. No coats needed on this day — well for Elle, Alyssa, and Joel. Our friends Ellie and Shellie wore their very cute denim jackets.

The pumpkin patch is surprisingly a very fun experience for something so simple. I’ve not frequented many pumpkin patches, but at the farm we go to the pumpkins are spread out everywhere on the grass. And that’s really it. Have you visited the pumpkin patch ever?

my god daughter Alyssa

The kids had the most fun ever running through all the pumpkins and they particularly love climbing on the large piles of huge pumpkins too. There’s something magical that happens to you when you see all the pumpkins laid out all over the place like that.

With all the running they did they needed to take their first juice break pretty quickly, thankfully I had enough CAPRI SUN for us all. CAPRI SUN is a brand that continues to innovate and listen to consumers, and knows that parents want to feel good about what they give their kids to eat and drink. That’s the main reason CAPRI SUN created four products with All Natural Ingredients and No Added Sugar*, and why their products have never contained artificial preservatives, colors or flavors – to give parents options with ingredients that fit their preferences.

Many people have no idea about the four different CAPRI SUN varieties, so let me break it down for you. Most of us are familiar with the CAPRI SUN 100% Juice served in the classic CAPRI SUN pouch. This 100% Juice is a refreshing juice drink offering ¾ cup of fruit juice per pouch.

Bet you didn’t know there’s the CAPRI SUN Organic, CAPRI SUN 100% Juice, CAPRI SUN Fruit & Veggie Blends and there’s a brand spanking NEW CAPRI SUN Fruit Refreshers. Yup, I told you they listened to us parents and offered us more options.
*Not a low-calorie beverage

NEW CAPRI SUN Fruit Refreshers: A convenient beverage made with a simple combination of all-natural fruit juice and filtered water that has an awesome taste kids love without the sugar that mom doesn’t want. Fruit Refreshers also have 50% less sugar than the average leading fruit juices**

  • CAPRI SUN Organic: Certified USDA Organic fruit drink blend aimed at helping parents strike the right balance between what their kids want to drink and what parents feel good about serving.
  • CAPRI SUN 100% Juice: Served in the classic CAPRI SUN pouch, 100% Juice is a refreshing juice drink offering ¾ cup of fruit juice per pouch.
  • CAPRI SUN Fruit & Veggie Blends: Previously known as Super V, CAPRI SUN Fruit & Veggie Blends is packed with yummy fruit and veggie juices, giving kids delicious fruit juice with ½ cup of fruit and veggie juice per pouch.

**Per 6oz, this product 10g of sugar, leading average fruit juice 20g of sugar

I take pride when giving my children these four new CAPRI SUN drinks because they are made with All Natural ingredients, have no added sugar* and no high-fructose corn syrup, artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. These four new products from CAPRI SUN have the taste kids love, without the ingredients that parents don’t want in their kids’ drinks.

After they all got a refreshing dose of delicious Capri Sun it was time for a pony ride. Joel rode on a beautiful pony called Jazz for a quick loop around and we thanked her kindly for the ride. And then it was back to running through the pumpkins again before hitching a ride back out on the tractor with our perfect pumpkins we selected. We can’t wait to do this again next year and I’ll be sure to have their favorite Capri Sun flavors in my tote bag of course.

Can I just start off by saying: how EPIC that slide looks! Even I want a turn of my very own! I would take one for the team. That pumpkin patch you went to just looks like tons of fun.

Pumpkin Patches are so much fun and something your kids will enjoy for years to come. I love that you share your journeys with us and Capri Sun Natural is of course the best way to go. I do wish ours had a slide like that though!!

My most memorable family adventures are always when my son and I travel to NYC. Being that his birthday is 12/24 we went there for Christmas in 2015. We had so much fun although it wasn’t cold as expected. We did ice skating at Bryant park, Chucky Cheese on Birthday, shopping at time square. My most memorable experience was seeing the huge Christmas tree at Rockfeller center and doing a photo shoot with Mr. Joel Stewart (Jenelle Husband). It was the best Christmas gift for us.

Apple picking is always a favorite family tradition for me. Going to the Apple farm in upstate NY was something I always looked forward to with my kids. Then coming home and having them help me make baked apples and apple pie! Memories to cherish for a life time. My kids would have had a all on that giant slide!

Such a awesome “tradition” I guess you call it. Unfortunately I was not able to create a memory as such this fall by visiting a pumpkin patch. My family does attend a Christmas light show each year. It’s a drive through viewing, no pushy crowds or not being able to see something. Plus we have a new edition to make her debut any day so it will be perfect for my family this year. We will get to ride in the comfort of our vehicle while our 2 1/2 year enjoys the show along with us while baby is safe and warm! Thanks for sharing! drich7888@gmail.com

Looks like u all had a ball. Im all about creating memories and enjoying fun activities w/my 8 year old son. Will definitely have to take him to a pumpkin patch next time. I also look for food and drink with as less sugar grams as possible for both of us.

Our girls just turned 15 on yesterday, but we love creating memories and continuing family traditions with them. One of our favorites this time of the year is to go to the NC State Fair. It’s hilarious watching them on the rides. But, my favorite part is the food! They love it too. I cannot leave until I get a funnel cake, roasted corn and fried Oreos. Our girls must-haves are cotton candy and turkey legs. I’m trying to enjoy it all before they’re too cool to hang with their parents! 🙂

I love going to the Pumpkin Patch with the kids! It’s such a simple thing to do as a family yet so fun, especially when they offer other things at the pumpkin batch – like apple picking, hay rides, apple cider!

My daughters are both now adults and both my hubby and I always enjoyed the school visits to the pumpkin patch! My favorite part was always the hayrides! Also, we kept a supply of Capri Sun juice boxes in their lunch boxes. As a baby boomer, I still like Capri sun as a quick healthy snack. Janell keep making those memories with you babies! They will never forget those family outings!

We love pumpkin patches. Our kids are not so little anymore but they love the pumpkin patch. We still carry a case of capri sun in our truck for road trips. I am interested to see how the veggie and fruit blends taste.
We have another tradition of riding the polar express during the Christmas Season. Love traditions!

My memories with my family is simple. We don’t really get to get out much due to financial issues but just being at home with my husband and kids is enough for me. Seeing them play with their dad is priceless! Taking selfies with my daughters are times I will never forget!

My favorite memories and family traditions all involve getting together at the parents or grandparents home and just eating and hanging out. Watching the children perform and lots of laughter is all the entertainment we need! Our little ones also love Capri Sun and they’re perfectly sized and convenient for the little hands.

This time of the year is so lovely and going to the pumpkin patches and corn mazes are bonuses even without kids! I love it. We don’t get snow where I live, but the beautiful fall colors of the season are everywhere and are a beauty to see. Keep making memories with the kids because even as adults they will return for more family fun! kedwardsspoilbra@yahoo.com

This looks like so much fun! I went to a fall fest a few weeks ago but the inflatables were $5 to jump. I thought that was odd. My daughter was able to jump and paint a pumpkin which she loved! Aaaand no painting mess for me to clean up! (score!). I haven’t been to a pumpkin patch yet but I heard a lot of them keep the pumpkins in one area nowadays.

I can’t say we started any traditions just yet other than pumpkin painting. I really need to get one that one. I didn’t know Capri Sun had organic or fruit and veggie juices. Good to know! I really like the refreshers for the summertime! (tdiddy1023@gmail.com)

We do love going to the pumpkin patch. It’s too cold here now but it certainly was fun earlier this fall. Now we’re looking forward to sleigh rides!
